"Afroessa" hotel was built in Santorini, in 1991. The hotel used to be a canava for the preparation and preservation of wine, and it is dated back to the 18th century. Some built-dispensers named "Lina" have been preserved till today. These dispensers are located 2m into the ground and their use was to gather the wine that dribbled from the wine presses. The location of the building is called "Maganari" and it took its name from the wine-press.
